I'm running on Windows 10, MSI X99A-SLI PLUS, i7-5820k, 32gb ram. I used to have a UR-44 and I could run huge 24/96 projects with a 64 buffer and never ran into issues like this. I recently upgraded to Cubase 9 Elements on Windows 7 64bit. It's also working fine with Windows sound, so I'm guessing this is a direct compatibility issue with Cubase? Use 64-bit plugins in your favorite 32-bit VST host with jBridge.
